2013 Contest Rules
A $500 award to will be given to 2 winners in each age category for either vocal or instrumental excellence: Ages: 10-12, 13-15, 16-19 Scholarships to be used for instruments or lessons from trained instructors. Scholarships ($500 checks) will be awarded at an evening Celebration. Location TBD. Parents of each of the Golden Star Winners are welcome!	Candidates must be 10-19 years of ages as of April 1, 2013 2 1/2 minute individual performances only–any selection of your choice Sheet music or taped accompaniment is allowed, however, playback equipment is not provided A music stand and piano are available but you shall provide your own accompaniment The decision of the judges will be final
